The Grand Floridian's Garden View Tea Room: A Sneak Peek at the Refurbished Interior
Get ready for a captivating glimpse into the newly refurbished Garden View Tea Room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. The recent unveiling of the lobby's windows has granted us a front-row view of the room's stunning transformation.
A Complete Makeover for the Garden View Tea Room
As we previously reported, the construction barriers have been removed, revealing a fresh and vibrant space. Our team was thrilled to catch a glimpse of the refurbished interior, and it did not disappoint!
The room boasts a modern yet cozy atmosphere with new white chairs featuring intricate leaf-patterned backs and comfortable green cushions. Round marble-patterned tables add a touch of elegance, while additional light wood tabletops provide a warm contrast. The new carpet is a masterpiece in itself, with a unique blend of brown, blue, and green hues, resembling a beautiful forest canopy and featuring hidden Mickeys for an extra magical touch.
Seating Options and Stylish Accents
The seating arrangements are diverse and inviting. Bench seats offer a comfortable option with blue cushions and pillows, while the mid-century-inspired green chairs add a retro charm with their patterned fabric and wicker backs. The light green cushions provide a refreshing pop of color.
A Long-Awaited Reopening
The Garden View Tea Room has been closed since 2020, making it the final piece of the Grand Floridian lobby refurbishment puzzle. Compare the new look to the pre-closure photo, showcasing the previous pink-themed décor.
Disney has announced that the Garden View Tea Room will reopen in early 2026 with a brand-new tea experience. There's even a chance it might soft open this week for the holidays!
